Faith, Fellowship, and Flapjacks

The Knights of Columbus Father Justin Cunningham Council hosted a well-attended pancake breakfast this past January, bringing together parishioners in a spirit of fellowship and charity. Following Mass, families and friends gathered to share a warm meal, enjoy one another’s company, and continue the joy of the Lord’s Day in community.

Such events reflect the heart of parish life which represents not only worship, but communion with one another. As the early Christians devoted themselves to the “breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42), so too do we gather, strengthening bonds of friendship rooted in Christ.

Proceeds from the breakfast were generously donated to support the Special Olympics, reminding us that even simple acts, like sharing a meal, can become instruments of charity. We are grateful to our brother Knights for their service and to all who participated in making this morning a success.

May God continue to bless our parish with unity, generosity, and faith!
